A directory that shows its evidence

Exterminator Guild lists 17,520 pest control businesses across 2,052 towns and cities in the United States and Canada. It exists because of one gap: Google records the full five-bucket breakdown of every business’s reviews, and shows you a single averaged star instead.

On these pages the breakdown is the headline. Nearly every listing shows the complete distribution — how many five-star reviews, and how many one-star — together with what reviewers actually write about, the hours the business publishes, and what the company says about itself, always marked as self-reported.

We are independent. No business listed here has paid to be listed, ranked, or described. There is no “featured” tier and no way to buy one. Rankings come from a rating adjusted for how many reviews it rests on, and from nothing else.

We verify nothing, and we say so. Where a company’s website says it is licensed or insured, that appears here as the company’s own claim, with the words “not verified” beside it. We never mark a licence as checked, because we have not checked one — and any directory that stamps “verified” without a register behind it is selling you its own confidence, not information.
